Terms of Service

Last updated: 17 August 2026

1. About these Terms. These Terms of Service apply when you access or use ShowRing Central, including the ShowRing Central website, Show Dashboard, ClassCall LIVE and related features and services.

By creating an account, accessing an authorised Show Dashboard or using ShowRing Central, you agree to these Terms.

If you are using ShowRing Central on behalf of a show, club, association, committee or other organisation, you confirm that you have authority to act on its behalf.

2. About ShowRing Central. ShowRing Central is a show-management and communication platform designed to help organisers, officials, competitors and spectators stay informed while a show is being conducted.

Features may include show programs, rings and classes, ClassCall LIVE, announcements, entrant information, check-in tools, Results, sponsor information and other show-management features.

ShowRing Central provides technology to assist with the operation and communication of a show. The Show Organiser remains responsible for the conduct and administration of their event.

3. Accounts and authorised access. Some ShowRing Central features require an approved account or authorised access.

You are responsible for keeping your login details, access links, PINs or other credentials secure and for ensuring they are not knowingly provided to an unauthorised person.

Show Organisers may provide limited access to authorised show personnel such as Stewards, Judges, Announcers and Results personnel.

Access must only be used for the show-related purpose for which it was provided.

4. Show Organiser responsibilities. The Show Organiser is responsible for the information and instructions they provide through ShowRing Central and for the operation of their show.

This includes responsibility for matters such as:

  • the show program and class information;
  • running order and changes to the program;
  • competitor and exhibit eligibility;
  • class entries;
  • judging and placings;
  • Championships, Reserves and other awards;
  • announcements;
  • sponsor information;
  • approval and publication of Results; and
  • compliance with the rules and requirements applying to their event.

ShowRing Central does not determine whether a competitor, horse or exhibit is eligible for a particular class or award.

5. Programs, entries and uploaded information. Show Organisers may provide programs, entry information and other show documents to ShowRing Central.

Information may be entered manually or processed using features such as ShowRing Central's Smart Importer.

The Smart Importer may use automated or AI-assisted technology to extract, organise and match information from documents supplied by an Organiser.

Automated processing can occasionally interpret information incorrectly. Organisers are responsible for reviewing imported information and correcting any errors before relying on it to operate their show.

6. Entrant information. Where an Organiser uses Entrants or Results features, ShowRing Central may process information such as competitor, rider or handler name, horse or exhibit name, entry or exhibit number and classes entered.

The Organiser is responsible for ensuring they have the appropriate rights, permissions, consents or other authority to provide this information to ShowRing Central.

Where entrant information is made publicly available through ShowRing Central, the Organiser is responsible for ensuring they have the appropriate authority to publish it.

ShowRing Central may require an Organiser to confirm this authority before public entrant or Results features are enabled.

7. Results. ShowRing Central may provide tools to record, calculate, collate, review and publish show Results.

These tools are intended to assist the Show Organiser and authorised show officials.

ShowRing Central does not determine the official outcome of a competition.

The Organiser remains responsible for ensuring Results have been correctly recorded and calculated in accordance with the rules applying to their show.

Where ShowRing Central performs calculations or assists with the collation of scores, the Organiser remains responsible for reviewing and approving the Result before publication.

A Result should not be treated as officially published through ShowRing Central until it has been approved for publication through the relevant Results process.

8. Stewards and check-in. An Organiser may authorise a Steward to access information required to manage their ring or classes.

This may include entrant names, horse or exhibit names, entry numbers, classes and check-in or attendance information.

Steward access is limited to the functions made available to that role by ShowRing Central and the Show Organiser.

9. Judges and judging information. Where ShowRing Central provides electronic judging or scoring features, Judges may be provided with separate, restricted access to the classes or judging forms assigned to them.

Where a competition requires Judges to work independently, ShowRing Central may restrict Judges from viewing another Judge's scoring or selections during judging.

Judges remain responsible for the scores, placings or other judging information they submit.

The Organiser remains responsible for ensuring the judging process complies with the rules applicable to the show.

10. Announcers and publication of Results. An Organiser may choose to send an approved Result to an authorised Announcer before making that Result publicly available through ShowRing Central.

Providing a Result to an Announcer does not automatically make that Result public.

Unless the Organiser has deliberately configured another authorised process, the Organiser retains responsibility for approving the Result for public publication.

11. Changes to classes and entries. ShowRing Central may allow authorised Organisers to change the running order of classes or edit an entrant's class allocation.

Changing the running order does not change the original identity or class number of a class unless the Organiser deliberately edits that information.

Where an Organiser moves, adds or removes an entrant from a class, the Organiser is responsible for ensuring the change is permitted under the rules of their show.

12. Sponsors. Organisers may provide sponsor names, logos, website or social-media links and other sponsor information for display through ShowRing Central.

The Organiser is responsible for ensuring they have permission to provide and display sponsor material.

ShowRing Central may display sponsor information in connection with shows, rings, classes, announcements and Results.

13. ClassCall LIVE and show information. ClassCall LIVE is intended to help people follow the progress of a show.

ClassCall LIVE and other live information should be treated as a communication aid. Show conditions can change quickly, and technical delays, connectivity problems, human error or changes made by show officials may affect the information displayed.

Competitors remain responsible for following the directions of the Show Organiser and officials and for presenting for their classes as required by the show.

14. Service availability. ShowRing Central is designed to operate in real-world show environments, including locations where mobile connectivity may be limited.

However, we cannot guarantee that ShowRing Central will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free or immediately updated.

Internet availability, mobile coverage, devices, third-party services, technical faults and circumstances outside our reasonable control may affect the Service.

Organisers should maintain any reasonable contingency arrangements they consider necessary for the safe and effective operation of their show.

15. Acceptable use. You must not use ShowRing Central:

  • unlawfully or fraudulently;
  • to deliberately provide false or misleading information;
  • to interfere with or disrupt the Service;
  • to attempt to gain unauthorised access to another account, show or restricted feature;
  • to introduce malicious code or otherwise compromise the security of the Service;
  • to impersonate another person or falsely represent your authority; or
  • in a way that infringes another person's rights.

We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect ShowRing Central, its users or other people.

16. Intellectual property. ShowRing Central and its software, branding, design, features and original content are owned by or licensed to ShowRing Central and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Organisers retain responsibility for and any rights they hold in material they provide to ShowRing Central.

By providing material for use within a show, the Organiser gives ShowRing Central permission to host, process and display that material as reasonably necessary to provide the Service.

17. Third-party services and links. ShowRing Central may use or provide links to third-party services, websites or technology.

Those services may have their own terms and privacy practices.

ShowRing Central is not responsible for the operation, content or availability of third-party services that we do not control.

18. Privacy. Our handling of personal information is described in the ShowRing Central Privacy Policy.

Where you provide personal information relating to another person, you are responsible for ensuring you have the appropriate authority to provide that information.

19. Liability. ShowRing Central is intended to assist with show management and communication, but it does not replace the judgement, responsibilities or obligations of Show Organisers and officials.

To the extent permitted by law, ShowRing Central is not responsible for loss or damage resulting from matters outside our reasonable control, including internet or mobile-network failure, third-party service interruption, inaccurate information supplied by users, or decisions made by Show Organisers, Judges, Stewards or other show officials.

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable law.

Where liability can lawfully be limited, it will be limited to the extent permitted by law.

20. Suspension and termination. We may suspend or restrict access to ShowRing Central where reasonably necessary because of security concerns, misuse of the Service, a breach of these Terms or a legal requirement.

An Organiser may stop using ShowRing Central subject to any applicable arrangements relating to their account or active shows.

21. Changes to ShowRing Central. ShowRing Central will continue to develop.

We may add, change or discontinue features from time to time.

Where a change materially affects these Terms, we may update them and publish the revised Terms with a new last-updated date.

22. Governing law. These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.

The parties submit to the courts having jurisdiction in Victoria and any courts entitled to hear appeals from those courts.
